{"id":96871,"date":"2022-07-12T10:38:03","date_gmt":"2022-07-12T09:38:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=96871"},"modified":"2022-07-12T10:38:03","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T09:38:03","slug":"presidency-north-west-apc-declares-support-for-tinubu-shettima-ticket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/presidency-north-west-apc-declares-support-for-tinubu-shettima-ticket\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidency: North-west APC declares support for Tinubu\/Shettima ticket"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1738138288833815963\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The North-west chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has thrown its support behind the choice of Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate to the party\u2019s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nA statement released to newsmen Tuesday in Abuja by the zone\u2019s publicity secretary, Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada, said the decision was taken in Dutse, Jigawa state capital when zonal officials of the party led by the National Vice Chairman, Northwest, Malam Salihu Moh. Lukman met with parry leaders and other stakeholders in the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProminent among issues raised at the meeting is the emergence of Senator Kashim Shettima as the running mate of the Party\u2019s Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and how the Zone should position itself in bringing victory to the party at all levels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParticipants resolved to work for the unity of party members and stronger commitment to mobilize Nigerians to vote to elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen.
