{"id":97054,"date":"2022-07-19T08:46:29","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T07:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97054"},"modified":"2022-07-19T08:46:29","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T07:46:29","slug":"ponzi-operator-faces-trial-for-duping-mtn-staff-colonel-others-n1-2bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/ponzi-operator-faces-trial-for-duping-mtn-staff-colonel-others-n1-2bn\/","title":{"rendered":"Ponzi Operator Faces Trial For Duping MTN Staff, Colonel, Others N1.2bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1738763912564260703\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Force Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon-Ikoyi division in Lagos State, has arraigned a ponzi scheme operator, Michael Ukiye Diongoli, before the Federal High Court in Lagos, for allegedly defrauding a retired Army Colonel, two professors, and MTN Staff Co-operative Society of the sum of N1.286, 580, 656 billion.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nDiongoli was arraigned on Monday before Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa on an eight-count charge of conspiracy, obtained by false pretence, and fraud.<\/p>\n<p>He was arraigned alongside his two firms, UK-Don Group and UK-Dion Investment Limited.<\/p>\n<p>The defendant was accused of defrauding his victims, under false pretence of multiple Returns On Investment (ROI) within the period of six months to one year.<\/p>\n<p>Some of his victims are Dr. Basil Onugu, Prof. Oneykachi Green Nwankwo, his wife, Elizabeth U. Onyekachi Green, Nnenna Ikubogh, Securities Ltd, Uchenna Nwankwo, Chinyere Oguejiofor, Sekoni A. Adetokunmo, Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Prof. Iloeje Casmir, Lilllan Ofondu, Suliaman Mamman, MTN Employer Cooperative, Gabriel Andrew, Obieme Adaku K., Col.
