{"id":97363,"date":"2022-07-26T18:42:06","date_gmt":"2022-07-26T17:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97363"},"modified":"2022-07-26T18:42:06","modified_gmt":"2022-07-26T17:42:06","slug":"explosion-rocks-kogi-ssgs-office-complex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/explosion-rocks-kogi-ssgs-office-complex\/","title":{"rendered":"Explosion rocks Kogi SSG&#8217;s office complex"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>A loud explosion was heard in the premises housing the office of the Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade.<\/p>\n<p>The office premises is next to Lugard street, housing the Kogi State council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>The loud explosion was heard around 8.30 am on Tuesday as journalists gathered to prepare for the day\u2019s assignments.<\/p>\n<p>When contacted, the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Egbuka, confirmed the explosion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said, \u201cYes, what happened was that we were informed of a package that looked like a bomb was left on the premises and I immediately deployed the bomb disposal unit there to assess the object.\u201cThe object was immediately blown up.
