{"id":97514,"date":"2022-07-30T10:13:47","date_gmt":"2022-07-30T09:13:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97514"},"modified":"2022-07-30T10:13:47","modified_gmt":"2022-07-30T09:13:47","slug":"yahoo-boy-strangles-lover-buries-her-in-his-bedroom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/yahoo-boy-strangles-lover-buries-her-in-his-bedroom\/","title":{"rendered":"Yahoo Boy Strangles \u2018Lover\u2019, Buries Her In His Bedroom"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1739762637112854782\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">A 27-year-old suspected fraudster (yahoo boy), identified as Joseph Fekala, has strangled a girl, Kate Ogwoh, who was said to be his lover and buried the corpse in a shallow grave in his bedroom.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nThe incident which occurred on Thursday evening at Okaka community in Yenagoa, the state capital, threw the residents to panic.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A neighbour, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told our correspondent that the activities of the suspected ritualist has been a source of concern to the people in the neighborhood.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe said the suspected killer was fond of taking different girls to his apartment, but they had not heard of any incident of killing.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nPolice spokesman in Bayelsa state, SP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect has been apprehended and is being detained at the State Criminal investigation Department.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe said, \u201cJoseph Fekala, 27 years of Ikibiri Community, but residing at Okaka,\u00a0 strangled one Kate Ogwoh, f, 26 years to death on 28 July 2022. He buried the deceased in a shallow grave in his bedroom.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n\u201cThe suspect was arrested following a tip off by neighbours on 29 July 2022, at about 0800 hours. He is being detained at the State Criminal investigation Department.
