{"id":97583,"date":"2022-08-01T19:32:11","date_gmt":"2022-08-01T18:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97583"},"modified":"2022-08-01T19:32:11","modified_gmt":"2022-08-01T18:32:11","slug":"cvr-deadline-inec-records-12-3m-registrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/cvr-deadline-inec-records-12-3m-registrations\/","title":{"rendered":"CVR deadline: INEC records 12.3m registrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">At the expiration of July 31 deadline set for the Continuous Voters Registration, CVR, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has disclosed that a total of 12,298,944 registrations were completed.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The statistics which the commission said stood authentic as at Monday, August 1, was cited by Pointblanknews.com on its official Twitter handle.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Further breakdown of the statistics informed that online entries stood at 3,444,378, while physical registrations was 8,854,566. Out of this figure, 6,074,078 were males, while 6,224,866 were females.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Lagos State had the highest number of entrants with 585,629 registrations, followed closely by Kano State with a record of 569,103 registrations. Delta State was third with 523,517 entries, while Ekiti State recorded the lowest turnout with 124,844 registrations.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The statistics added that youths between the age of 18 to 34 years old dominated the completed registrations with 8,784,677 entries. Public servants recorded 125,025, forming the lowest category entrants.
