{"id":97689,"date":"2022-08-04T13:27:59","date_gmt":"2022-08-04T12:27:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97689"},"modified":"2022-08-04T13:27:59","modified_gmt":"2022-08-04T12:27:59","slug":"tinubu-not-part-of-buhari-govt-dont-blame-him-for-failure-oshiomhole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/tinubu-not-part-of-buhari-govt-dont-blame-him-for-failure-oshiomhole\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu not part of Buhari govt, don\u2019t blame him for failure \u2013 Oshiomhole"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Adams Oshiomhole, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has said the party\u2019s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, never participated in President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s government.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\nTo this end, Oshiomhole said Tinubu should not be blamed for any infraction by the Buhari-led Federal Government.<\/p>\n<p>The former APC National Chairman who\u00a0disclosed this during an interview with Arise TV said Nigerians should stop blaming Tinubu for issues with Buhari\u2019s government.<\/p><\/div>\n<div>\nOshiomhole stressed that the former Lagos State Governor has never held any position in Buhari\u2019s government.<\/p>\n<p>According to the former Edo State governor, Tinubu never took contracts from Buhari\u2019s government.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cI think in appropriating or apportioning blame or crediting people, you will look at their role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a fact that Tinubu himself co-founded the APC. But he never participated in governance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe never held any position in government. He didn\u2019t carry out any contract on behalf of the government.
