{"id":97820,"date":"2022-08-07T17:38:14","date_gmt":"2022-08-07T16:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=97820"},"modified":"2022-08-07T17:38:14","modified_gmt":"2022-08-07T16:38:14","slug":"tinubu-sees-presidency-as-life-entitlement-says-melaye","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/tinubu-sees-presidency-as-life-entitlement-says-melaye\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinubu sees presidency as life entitlement, says Melaye"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1740520839690656006\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">A former Kogi Senator, Dino Melaye has said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu sees the office of President as a life entitlement.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nHe added the reason Tinubu is eyeing Aso Rock Villa is because he sees it as a retirement benefit for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari to be the nation\u2019s leader in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Melaye, who is the spokesperson for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, made these statements in a video he made and posted on his Facebook page on Saturday.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The former lawmaker was reacting to spokesperson of Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo\u2019s attack on Atiku that he has no experience to govern Nigeria, adding that the standard bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi is more experienced.<\/p>\n<p>Melaye also said Atiku is running for the office of President based on credentials.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\nMelaye said: \u201cAtiku Abubakar is running for presidency not for the second or third time so he understands this route better than the political virgin, Tinubu you are supporting, who is running for presidency for the first time seeing it as a life entitlement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe sees it as a retirement benefit for supporting Buhari.
