{"id":98252,"date":"2022-08-17T10:20:50","date_gmt":"2022-08-17T09:20:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=98252"},"modified":"2022-08-17T10:20:50","modified_gmt":"2022-08-17T09:20:50","slug":"abduction-i-never-knew-my-commissioners-have-no-security-nasarawa-gov","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/abduction-i-never-knew-my-commissioners-have-no-security-nasarawa-gov\/","title":{"rendered":"Abduction: I Never Knew My Commissioners Have No Security &#8211; Nasarawa Gov"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule has disclosed that he was not aware that his commissioners have no security details attached to them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Security details are usually provided for the protection of commissioners and other public office holders.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was learnt that since their inauguration more than seven months ago, no fewer than 14 commissioners serving in the cabinet of Governor Sule do not have security details attached to them.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Also, some of the commissioners do not have official cars. This had forced the commissioners to use their private cars for official duties.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The governor spoke at the Government House, Lafia while reacting to the Monday\u2019s abduction of his Commissioner for Information, Yakubu Lawal, by gunmen at the headquarters of the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He said: \u201cI have no idea that some of our commissioners don\u2019t have Police attached to them until today. I assured, however, that my administration will address the spade of kidnappings in Nasarawa Eggon.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cIn a week, we now have three incidences. For that reason, we can\u2019t fold our hands. We have to be able to take a stronger position.
