{"id":98463,"date":"2022-08-22T11:49:39","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T10:49:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=98463"},"modified":"2022-08-22T11:49:39","modified_gmt":"2022-08-22T10:49:39","slug":"gunmen-abduct-four-catholic-reverend-sisters-in-imo-state","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/gunmen-abduct-four-catholic-reverend-sisters-in-imo-state\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunmen abduct four Catholic reverend sisters in Imo State"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">No fewer than four Catholic Reverend Sisters have been abducted by gunmen on Sunday in Imo State.<\/p>\n<p>The nuns were abducted on Okigwe-Enugu Road which has become notorious for criminals and criminalities.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary General of Sisters Of Jesus The Saviour (Generalate), Sister Zita Ihedoro confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Sister Ihedoro identified the names of the victims as: sisters Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamalu and Benita Agu.<\/p><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">She said: \u201cDear brothers and sisters in Christ, it is with great pain that we bring to your notice the kidnapping of four of our sisters mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sad event of their abduction occurred around Okigwe-Umulolo area this morning shortly after the sisters were on their way to thanksgiving mass of our sister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe implore for intense prayer for their quick and safe release.
