{"id":98819,"date":"2022-09-01T12:11:42","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T11:11:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=98819"},"modified":"2022-09-01T12:11:42","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T11:11:42","slug":"man-rapes-friends-wife-in-lagos-blames-drunkenness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/man-rapes-friends-wife-in-lagos-blames-drunkenness\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Rapes Friend\u2019s Wife In Lagos, Blames Drunkenness\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1742752923749647490\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\">A 39-year-old man has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping his friend\u2019s wife on her matrimonial bed in the Surulere area of Lagos State.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The incident was said to have occurred last Monday at about 2:00 a.m.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>It was gathered that the suspect allegedly burgled the apartment of the victim and unlawfully had sexual intercourse with her.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The victim disclosed that she was sleeping with her husband on the same bed in their apartment when she felt she was being made love to.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cI was sleeping with my husband on the bed at about 2:00 a. m. when I felt somebody was making love to me.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cInitially I thought it was my husband, until when I unintentionally stretched my hand and touched my husband who was deeply asleep beside me.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cI immediately woke up my husband, who switched on the lights and he saw his friend having sex with me.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt still baffled us how he broke into our apartment without us noticing,\u201d she said.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The woman further stated that the man blamed his action on drunkenness.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cHe claimed that he missed his way to his house because he was under the influence of alcohol,\u201d she added.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The suspect was later arrested by police operatives from Surulere division following a report lodged by the victim and husband.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The incident was confirmed by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Idowu Adedeji.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>However, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.<\/p>\n<div id=\"m_-8221686787687026694ymail_android_signature\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Related Posts generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 39-year-old man has been arrested by the police for allegedly raping his friend\u2019s wife on her matrimonial bed in the Surulere area of Lagos State.
