{"id":98850,"date":"2022-09-02T00:46:54","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T23:46:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=98850"},"modified":"2022-09-02T00:46:54","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T23:46:54","slug":"pdp-children-will-teach-ayu-lesson-wike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/exclusive\/pdp-children-will-teach-ayu-lesson-wike\/","title":{"rendered":"PDP \u2018children\u2019 will teach Ayu lesson \u2013 Wike"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"m#msg-f:1742802760340365579\" class=\"mail-message expanded\">\n<div class=\"mail-message-header spacer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday, lambasted the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu, saying the latter was interested in the N14 billion the party raised during primaries.<\/div>\n<div class=\"mail-message-content collapsible zoom-normal mail-show-images \" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">He said it was Ayu\u2019s desire to manage the funds, pointing out that he has demonstrated the highest level of ingratitude and arrogance for describing him and members of his team as children after he assisted in attaining his present position.Wike who spoke at the commissioning of Omerelu Internal roads in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state on Thursday said those Ayu was referring to as children would teach him a lesson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese children you said we are, brought you from nothing,\u201d Wike said.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cNow we have seen that you don\u2019t want the party to win the election, we will help you.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAyu, you said you founded this party, but you left the party in 2007. You founded a company, you left the company, people stood and brought out the company to what it is today, you have no moral right to still come and claim that you founded that company, you left with your shares.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cNigerians have seen how ungrateful some of you can be, and that\u2019s why Nigerians also want to be careful, if we give these people power, are you sure they will also be grateful to Nigerians?\u201d.Speaking, a member of the Board of Trustees of the PDP and former Deputy National Chairman of the Party, Chief Bode George, stated that Ayu\u2019s utterances portray him as immature.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a serving national chairman of our party is calling elected governors that they are children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoes he think that children don\u2019t grow? Or is there a life perpetual on him? We need to watch our language.
