{"id":98925,"date":"2022-09-04T21:08:09","date_gmt":"2022-09-04T20:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/?p=98925"},"modified":"2022-09-04T21:08:09","modified_gmt":"2022-09-04T20:08:09","slug":"police-rescue-kidnapped-pdp-candidate-others-in-katsina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pointblanknews.com\/pbn\/news\/police-rescue-kidnapped-pdp-candidate-others-in-katsina\/","title":{"rendered":"Police rescue kidnapped PDP candidate, others in Katsina"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Katsina Police Command on Sunday says it rescued the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, House of Assembly Candidate for the 2023 general elections, Ibrahim Tafashiya and several others kidnapped by terrorists on Saturday.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">While confirming the report, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, SP Gambo Isah said the quick intervention from the Kankia Divisional Police Officer and his team led to the rescue of the house of Assembly hopeful.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThe Kankia Divisional Police Officer, SP Ilyasu Ibrahim and his men swung into action immediately the distress call came in. They engaged the criminals in a fierce gun duel and eventually rescued Hon.
