GTCrea8, the first ever student specific account in Nigeria launched by Guaranty Trust Bank in 2009 to wide acclaim, has continued to draw plaudits from numerous sections of the student community.

The account which is a high interest bearing savings account comes with a specially branded GTCrea8 debit card and also allows the lodgment of cheques and dividend warrants up to 100,000 Naira. Furthermore, account owners are afforded the opportunity of winning a GTCrea8 annual scholarship

Speaking on the account, Jide Ogundare, Executive Director and Head, Retail at Guaranty Trust Bank said the GTCrea8 account was borne out of a need to offer Nigeria’s burgeoning student population an account package that enabled them cultivate the habit of saving whilst pursuing their academic goals and aspirations.

The GTCrea8 students account can be opened by visiting any of GTBank’s over 160 branches nationwide.
