EFCC grills El-Rufai for 10 hours...Denies illegal allocation, ownership of Etisalat

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), on tuesday grilled former Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nasir El-Rufai for ten hours.

Sources hinted pointblanknews.com that though he denied the alleagtions, the EFCC has enough documentary evidence to make the charges stick.

According to our source, " the agency has enough evidence against him. Most of the transactions, allocations, are documented..."

Rufai who  was accompanied to the EFCC headquarters by his attorneys and relatives, took questions of his alleged misappropriation of N32 billion proceeds freom sales of government properties in Abuja, his ownership of a telecommunications company, Etisalat, illegal appropriation of PHCN land and consequent allocation to his family and cronies etc, pointblanknews.com has learnt.

Rufai who arrived the Idiagbon House headquarters of the anti-graft agency,  at about 10am and did not leave till  7.30pm, pointblanknews.com also  learnt tuesday.

The ex minister who recently returned from self exile, clad in a white kaftan and red cap, came down twice ( 2pm and 4pm) to say his prayers. 

According to our source Rufai who is expected to be arraigned in an Abuja High court thursday, was granted administrative bail at about 7.30 pm.
