THE second term ambition of Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State has received a major boast with the calls on the people of the state to rally round the second term of the governor for continued delivery of democracy dividends, saying Governor Akpabio has performed maximally than my former boss.’
Speaking in an interview with newsmen recently, former deputy governor of the state, Engineer Christopher Ekpeyong, who was reacting to the recent moves by his former boss, Obong Victor Attah to derail the zoning arrangement which saw the office of the governor being zoned to Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district.
Ekpeyong, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Reform Forum stated that “on the issue of zoning what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Akpabio has performed maximally well, even his predecessor, my boss, never did as much “as what Akpabio is doing in all aspects.”
According to the former deputy governor, goals of administrations differ. Being judgemental, I have seen and you may have also seen enormous road constructions, flyovers, free education and so on. He must therefore be given the chance to complete his projects
