EFCC grills runaway Bank Chief, Akingbola, over N747 billion
Ex Intercontinental Bank boss, Erastus Akingbola, was on wednesday grilled for
hours by operatives of the EFCC.
The anti-graft commission also seized his travelling documents.

learnt , showed up at the commission's office before 11am in company of his
attorney, Felix Fagbohungbe (SAN).
EFCC spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who confirmed the development, was however not
sure for how long they would keep Akingbola.
According to him, Akingbola has to explain to interrogators all he knew about
the illicit granting of strings of non-performing loans amounting to N747Billion

out of Nigeria, Akingbola may not be released till next week.
