Dora Akunyili Resigns, Joins APGA

Information and communication minister, Dr. Dora Akunyili has resigned from the president Goodluck Jonathan's administration to run for the Anambra Central Senatorial elections.

Akunyili also resigned from the people's Democratic Party, PDP to join the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.
she said her decision to join APGA was to make "the party stronger in the south east."
