Atiku 2011 Presidential Campaign Organization, Philadelphia Chapter holds inaugural meeting...rallies support

The Atiku 2011 Presidential campaign organization , Philadelphia chapter, at the weekend held its inaugural meeting, with a resolve to mobilize Nigerians both in the diaspora and in Nigeria to back the best of those angling to be President in 2011.

The meeting which held at the Comforts Inn in Philadelphia was attended by a cross section of members of the People Democratic Part (PDP) in the United States.

During the meeting, one of the campaign managers for the Atiku 2011 Campaign organization, Nze Chidi Duru, in a conference call, gave kudos to facilitators of the meeting, and assured that they would get every support from the umbrella organization.

Nze, who is one of those penciled down from the south east to run with Atiku, urged members of the chapter not to relent on their efforts, and that he was optimistic about Atiku picking the party’s ticket after the primaries.

 

Speaking with Pointblanknews.com, one of the facilitators of the meeting , Stanley Dike, said at the next meeting strategies would be mapped out on how to effectively mobilize for Atiku, formation of committees and recruitment of volunteers.

Dike urged Nigerians to back the former Vice President considering his five key priorities which are employment generation and wealth creation, power generation, infrastructural development, security, education, health social services and fixing the Niger Delta problem.

Those at the meeting included Ms Hope Dike, Ige Isijola, Jasper Anugwon, Allwell Osuala, Chris Gbemudu, Lawrence Eburoh, Jimoh Busari, and Tope Dairo.
