Barely a week after the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Okwesileze Nwodo was removed by a court order, an Anambra High Court sitting in Awka today gave an order removing Olisa Metuh as the PDP National Vice Chairman for the South East.

The order restrains him from functioning as the PDP Zonal Chairman of the Party. The order further restrains him from vying, contesting or aspiring for any higher office unless he is elected as a delegate. According to the order, any PDP meeting or activity he engages in is a null and void and of no effect.

The Court order followed a suit by a PDP chieftain, Prince Emeka Eze seeking the court to nullify the election of Metuh.
