Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, former anti-corruption chieftain, famous for his non-tolerance of corruption has given Dr Abiye Samuel Precious Sekibo, governorship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Rivers State, a clean bill of health.

Addressing a mammoth crowd at the liberation Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, during the party’s presidential campaign, Mallam Ribadu who is the Presidential Candidate of the party declared Dr Sekibo corruption-free and urged the Rivers People to vote for him.

“Dr Sekibo is a man I know. I worked with him in government. He was a Minister of Transport and member of the cabinet. He did well. He is a good man”, Mallam Ribadu declared.

The Presidential Candidate went further to say, “People of Rivers State, I can tell you, you have a good man. Take him. This gentleman is a good human being. He is just, he is not corrupt.”

Mallam Ribadu said the ACN is showcasing young men and women of integrity who have proved themselves in government like Lagos State, Edo State and other ACN states.

“The broom revolution has come to Port Harcourt. The broom revolution is here to sweep out poverty including the PDP. Time has come for justice, time has come for peace, time has came for security, time has come for development,” the ACN presidential candidate told the cheering crowd.

He said the ACN has a marshall plan for the Niger Delta, where the nation’s revenue is derived and that there was no reason, why the region could not be like Kuwait or Dubai.

The PDP, he said, has left the country poorer despite earning over three hundred billion dollars and that like the case of electricity, which was better before 1999, the PDP is noted for failed promises.

He urged the crowd to vote for ACN so as to bring development to the nation in housing, roads, security and other sectors.
