Ekweremadu congratulates Anyim, commends Jonathan

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has sent a message of congratulation to the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, describing his new appointment as well deserved.

In a letter to Senator Anyim, the Deputy Senate President also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for an excellent pick, saying his wide range of experience in both the civil service and the legislature stand him out for the job.

He urged the new SGF to invest energy, hardwork and patriotism in his new assignment, knowing that his new office would be critical to the success of the transformation agenda of President Jonathan.

Part of the letter reads: “ it gives me joy to send you warm congratulations on your appointment as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF). I am sure that for those of us who know you and your track record, it is a well deserved appointment.

“I must also commend the President for choosing a man of your experience for the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), because of its critical position in achieving the cardinal agenda of his administration.

While wishing you God’s speed, please count on me and indeed, the Senate as partners in this new assignment” Senator Ekweremadu said.
