Shocker: DNA Test shows Ex Kogi Gov Audu, Not the Father of His First Lady's Daughter

Ex-Kogi Gov. Abubakar Audu |
A DNA test conducted in the United States to determine the paternity of a girl purportedly fathered by a former governor of Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, came back negative.
All along, Audu had believed that his former first lady, Mrs. Aisha Audu bore him a baby girl. However, following a rift which developed between the two, there came a need to determine the paternity of the girl.
Aisha had before a US Court with Judge Dennis Michael Mchugh presiding, accused her husband abused of domestic violence and family abandonment in America. She asked the court for absolute divorce and payment of alimony.
She also wanted child support as well as asked the court to give her absolute ownership of a property in America, belonging to a company where Audu has interest, and that the house to be designated a family home, to enable her claim it as part of divorce settlement.
Aisha lost all grounds canvassed in the case, but for that of child support.
Audu who had earlier told the court that he doubted the paternity of the new born baby, insisted that paternity test DNA be conducted to determine the true father of the baby.
The result of the paternity test, showed negative and that Audu was not the father of the baby.
Aisha had initially objected to the conduct of the DNA test, but the Montgomery County Court ordered her to submit herself to the test, or be charged for contempt. |
