The K-Leg of Ikedi Ohakim's Declaration

The 6th of November 2010 will go down in the history of Imo State as the day the people of the state were officially told in broad daylight that deceit is honourable and falsehood is a treasured asset.
On this day the unperforming governor of Imo State (Mr. Ikedi Ohakim) formally declared his interest to contest the 2011 governorship election. The declaration was made at the DAN ANYIAM STADIUM Owerri.
Agreed that people came to witness the occasion, it should be noted that 85% of those that came were people promised N1000 each. Yet at the end of the ceremony these people received only N500 each. What a way to hoodwink the people once again. The other set of people that came were civil servants who were ordered to show their presence because “roll call” would be taken. The remaining people who showed faces were the unemployed youths who were asked to come to the stadium to collect their “letter of appointment”. OH GOD, just see how treacherous Ikedi can be.
While reading his declaration speech Ikedi Ohakim pleaded with those he offended to forgive him. Just hear him,------------- “As humans, we may have erred at some points in our relationships. That makes us human. To all who feel offended, please forgive and lets work together to do more for our people. Yesterday is gone. Today is here but tomorrow will surely be better. Let’s do more. I respect you all”.

One had expected this irresponsible so called governor to tell Imo people what he has achieved within his miserable 3 ½yrs in office. Rather he went on to expose himself by claiming what he never achieved. At this point let me state it clearly that politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with blood shed. Since the history of Nigeria in general and Imo State in particular, there has never been any report of a sitting governor who personally shed the blood of innocent citizens except Ikedi Ohakim in Imo State.
A sitting governor who personally shed the blood of an innocent citizen of his state must never be allowed to go for second tenure. As a Citizen of Imo State who suffered personal assault from Ikedi Ohakim in the Office of the governor at gun point and whose blood Ohakim shed in the Office of the governor, I make bold to state that Ohakim has indeed turned politics in Imo State into a war affair where those opposed to his corrupt and rogue leadership are beaten up by him at gun point. It therefore also means that the battle has taken a different dimension.
For the records, all the security and anti-corruption agencies in this country are with copies of my allegation of corrupt and criminal practices of Ikedi Ohakim leadership in Imo State. Infact the advisory list of EFCC advising political parties in Nigeria to ban some state governors from participating in the 2011 election has the name of Ikedi Ohakim as among those to be banned. This means that EFCC have concluded their investigation on this rogue governor. According to INSIDER magazine (a foremost magazine in Nigeria) which published the EFCC advisory list in their November 8th 2010 edition, my unchallengeable petition entitled “IKEDI OHAKIM LEADERSHIP: A CULTURE OF CORRUPTION” was the document that exposed Ikedi Ohakim as a monumental criminal. See the attached petition. The question now is, why must an official thief (Ohakim) be allowed to declare for second tenure? Can a man who has been officially acknowledged as a criminal be allowed to contest election? While waiting for a response from the Federal Government of Nigeria, I make bold to state that I will go to any length humanly and inhumanly possible to fight this monster called Ikedi Ohakim.
Therefore the call by Ohakim on all those he offended and assaulted to forgive him should be seen as “AKUKO MIKE EJE AYO”. At this point, may I ask a question? Can Ikedi Ohakim really contest the 2011 election? I ask this very simple question because this same man (Ikedi) was disqualified by his present party PDP (through the PDP screening committee in Enugu in 2006) from contesting the governorship primaries. The variables that made him to be disqualified in November 2006 are still viable even with additional negative variables. Can the PDP answer this writer? I have already alerted the PDP National headquarters.
Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju, the former governor of Anambra State was stopped from going for Second tenure in Office because of non-performance, fraudulent activities, murder charge and sharing of state resources by the same PDP that is now romancing and hobnobbing with Ikedi Ohakim who has committed more grievous offences and crimes against humanity.
(1) Dr. Mbadinuju was never a political prostitute
(2) Dr. Mbadinuju never destroyed people’s properties
(3) Dr. Mbadinuju never destroyed the economic activities of his subjects which resulted to the death of so many people.
(4) Dr. Mbadinuju never increased his security vote
(5) Dr. Mbadinuju never insulted people who made him politically relevant
(6) Dr. Mbadinuju didn’t steal 1% of what Ikedi Ohakim has already stolen
(7) Dr. Mbadinuju never used state funds to buy mansions and other properties worldwide.
(8) Dr. Mbadinuju never forced his aides to swear Oath of personal allegiance to him.
(9) Dr. Mbadinuju never dethroned Traditional Rulers in his state.
(10) Dr. Mbadinuju never took Loans and bonds which were later looted.
(11) Dr. Mbadinuju never made Obasanjo to Commission false and scam projects
(12) Dr. Mbadinuju never destroyed the Churches and other worship centers in his state
(13) Dr. Mbadinuju never frustrated the poor masses in his state
(14) Dr. Mbadinuju never slept with women in the Office of the governor.
(15) Dr. Mbadinuju never stripped his fellow man naked in the Office of the governor at gun point.
(16) Dr. Mbadinuju never assaulted a priest
(17) Mr. Mbadinuju never did money laundering
(18) And so on and so forth.
Yet he was disqualified from re-contesting in 2003.
Not long ago in an interview with “ORIENTAL LIFE” magazine I revealed that Ohakim will “apologise” to the people of Imo state for his misrule and plead that he be given a second chance. I told Imo people that the “apology” would be a format to cajole them to vote for him. This will never happen in this state. In as much as I am not a security risk in this state, in as much as I am a socio-political crusader in this state, I am stepping up my campaign against the fraud infested leadership of Ikedi Ohakim. Last year precisely on the 26th of June 2009 in an article entitled “LEAVE GOVENROR IKEDI OHAKIM ALONE” (see attached article). I warned those with questionable characters to leave Ohakim alone. Till today these people are still glued to him because birds of the same feathers cling together. Therefore I have no alternative than to expose these people and their activities. The first set of people to be exposed are homosexuals in Ohakim government and homosexuals supporting his 2nd term aspiration. The question is, why must homosexuals be holding top positions in Ohakim government? Why are homo sexuals coordinators of his NEWFACE Organization? Why are homosexual heading Youth Association in Ohakims’ name? Why did Ikedi Ohakim personally strip his fellow man naked in the office of the governor? Is Ohakim a homosexual? The answer is coming in the next few days?
If Ikedi Ohakim feels that he can play with the sensibilities and sensitivities of Imo people again then he must be told in clear terms that such rubbish will no longer work. This political battle must be fought in Imo State by Imo People for Imo Citizens. I cannot conclude this piece without letting Ohakim to know that my local government area (Nkwerre), my zone (Orlu Zone) and the entire state is waiting for him.
Ikedi Ohakim cannot and can never eat his cake and have it back.
