ORJI KALU: A PERPETUAL LIAR AND POLITICAL LIABILITY?

The description of Orji Kalu,former Governor of State as a perpetual liar and political liability is apt.He continues to not only take the Ndiigbo for a ride,but Nigeria as a whole.Orji Kalu has forgotten on what promise ,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,former President allowed him to contest again as Governor,the second time in 2003.The question is,is Orji Kalu a righteous and Holy Man?.Can he really claim to be that transparent in his dealings in business and politics? Many of us out here who are stakeholders in the project Nigeria and politics have a lot to say on Orji Kalu’s type,but we don’t want to be taken for a ride ,the second time.Once beaten,they say twice shy.
If Orji Kalu had done something new, between 1999 and 2007 the armed robbery ravage taking between Aba and Onitsha,couldn’t be there now.What has he done,other than amass wealth and enrich himself by establishing SLOK Air and other businesses?He deserves the reaction by Atiku Media Centre that he is a perpetual liar and political liability.Imagine Orji Kalu saying he was the one who confronted Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in 2003,that he Chief Olusegun was not a marketable presidential material.It has been confirmed that and everyone knows,Chief James Ibori was the S one that faced the former President boldly and squarely and told him that.
The statement signed from the Atiku Media Centre by Mallam Garba Shehu,the Media Advisor noted that”if former Governor Kalu is still confused about what happened to his SLOK Airlines and the two banks as he claimed,he knows where to go to.” Throughout his eight year rule as Vice-President,Atiku Abubakar did not have the responsibility of overseeing the EFCC.It is therefore unfair to blame to blame Atiku for the Obasanjo administration’s antagonistic policies which led to the collapse of his [Kalu’s businesses].
As someone who occasionally suffers from memory loss and deliberately distorts facts to suit his own selfish motives,we would like to remind how he thwarted efforts by several political parties to float a mega opposition party to confront the PDP in 2007.It is incredible to say that blinded by his own ambition and the delusion that the Presidency is for sale and is open to just anyone with money and sufficient rascality,Kalu chose to go solo after stakeholders had agreed on its name,colours and logo.
Orji Kalu is suffering from the diarrhea of the mouth apology to Chief Alex Akinyele the former minister of Information.He is also a lone ranger who will never touch the presidency by his betrayal antics and political misdemeanour.How Orji Uzoh Kalu believe that he has to be consulted on Atiku’s decision to visit his former boss,Obasanjo,when same Kalu had smuggled PPA unilaterally into so-called Government of National Unity at the centre without talking to anyone?That is the paradox and contradiction of same Orji Kalu ,that we do not know,how he finished from University of Maiduguri
It has not being unusual for such like Orji Uzoh Kalu to have been involved in falsifications,lies,419 and other ugly scenes in this Nigeria.By concoctions and manufacturing of stories do such like the former Governor of Abia desire to be the leader of anytime in this country? Nigerians will never give his type a chance again.
Orji Kalu should ‘grow up’like the Atiku Media Centre advised,he should play decent politics and that if someone is about to top 50 years,he should be mature in utterances.Half a century is two score and ten which is the age of sobriety, as one should match forward with wisdom.He should take steps,not to be a running mouth and a jester in a political court.
Atiku Media Centre disclosed that their principal felt greatly relieved that Orji Kalu has decided to distance himself from him [Atiku].Orji Kalu is a liability ,not an asset to any serious person.This is how the political climate has transformed where charlatans can insult their elders without shame,without wincing.Therefor,for Orji Kalu to have gone to the media to say the visit of Atiku to Obasanjo is condemnable,does not carry any salt. Do we have to be enemies to be enemies to be enemies?
Does this country need reconciliation forgiveness and harmony? But honestly Nigeria does not need persons like Orji Kalu who thrives on lies,falsehood and manipulations.
