Dear Sir/Madam,
I was awarded a scholarship by Politecnico di Torino (vercelli campus. As
a result, I submitted my senior school certificate together with my first
school leaving certificate to Italian Consulate in Lagos Nigeria(12,
W.Carrington Crescent, V.I., Lagos, Nigeria on Monday morning 2008-07-07
for them to verify the authenticity of my documents so that they can
legalize them and issue the subsequent declaration of value. After they
have finished verifying my documents, I was asked to come for visa
interview on 2008-08-27.
After the interview, I asked for my documents but I was told that the
Italian who kept my documents traveled but he will be available before my
next appointment with them on 2008-09-05. When I went to the consulate on
2008-09-05, I was told to come back on 2008-09-12 for both my visa and my
documents. On that day, visa was issued to me but my documents was not given back to me. I was
asked to come back on 2008-09-15 for my documents. On 2008-09-15, I was
told that the consulate had sent my documents together with the
declaration of value to Politecnico di Torino Italy, so I should proceed
to Italy, that the university will give back my documents to me when I
arrive at the university.
I traveled on 2008-09-16 night and reached the university on 2008-09-17.
On reaching I asked for my documents from the university and they told me
that the embassy did not send any of my documents to them. To my greatest
surprise, the university told me that the consulate told them that they
gave me back my documents. Am a sensing a complete fraud on this whole
matter.
I am therefore writing to request that you use your good office to compel
the consulate to give me back my documents without further delay. I am now
stranded in the university. I am in pains. The university needs to see my documents before I can proceed with my
studies. Besides, I need my documents. Kindly do something to compel the
consulate to produce my documents. I know it is my right to have back my
documents.
Kindly give urgent attention to my request (problem).
Best regards,
Ihuoma Uzoma
