Wave ... Jade arrives home |
FRAIL Jade Goody left hospital in a wheelchair today as she went home to prepare for her wedding.
The stricken star, who was last week given the heartbreaking news that her cancer is terminal, looked weak as she was helped out of London’s Royal Marsden Hospital by porters.
The tragic 27-year-old was visibly in pain and had what appeared to be a morphine administrator hanging out of her mouth.
She was helped into the ambulance, which took her back to her Upshire house.
Brave Jade was photographed giving a wave to snappers as returned home and she was then given support to walk to her door.
The mum-of-two was taken to hospital on January 30 after collapsing. She later underwent an emergency operation on a tumour in her bowel, after learning her cervical cancer had spread to her bowel, groin and liver.
But days later doctors were forced to admit defeat and told the reality star she has just months to live.
Boyfriend Jack Tweed then proposed at her bedside and the couple are planning to get married on Sunday at Down Hall country house hotel in Essex.
Today all hands were on deck to get the star ready for her quickie wedding.
Giant white marquees were seen being erected at the venue in preparation for Jade's big day.
Around 100 people will attend the civil ceremony at noon, followed by a lavish reception.
It will be filmed by Living TV, who have documented her illness since she was diagnosed last August.
Jade has been given a £3,500 Makado silk Uranio wedding dress by Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed.

Jade's best friend and maid of honour, Kate Jackson, told today’s This Morning: “Five of Jade's closest mates were called in a couple of days ago and Jade said, ‘I'm getting married and I want you to be bridesmaids’.
“Then she started flinging out random orders about what we had to do for the preparations - although now everything keeps changing.
“There are so many things to organise and so much of what Jade wants isn't practical when there is only a week - but if anyone can pull off this wedding, Jade can.”
Tragic Jade is determined to walk down the aisle on Sunday, despite being unable to stand unaided today.
She said: “I am going to die in this hospital, so I don't want to get married here.
“But wherever we tie the knot, I'm determined to walk down that aisle.
“I'm so looking forward to being a bride. And I want to walk toward my groom, just like any other young woman would on what is meant to be the best day of their lives.”
