OSHIOMOLE PLEASE SAVE ETSAKO WEST FROM THE HANDS OF GANI AUDU

I want to draw the attention of the Edo state action Governor comrade Adams Oshiomole to the present dilapidation in both humans and structures in Etsako west local government area of Edo state Nigeria which is fortunate to be the governors own local government area. The problems in the local government are caused by the present local government chairman Hon. Gani Audu. This is a local government chairman who was elected into office fraudulently in an election which was marred with mass rigging and ballot stuffing. It is sad to say the Hon Gani Audu a so called local government chairman who is suppose to be in the grassroots is never seen in the office. It can be authoritatively said that the local government chairman visits the office only once in two months or more in cases where monthly allocations are been stocked and his attention is needed to get the funds released. He has left the local government council to his personal assistant who is now responsible for the allocation of projects and signing of files on behalf of the local government chairman.

The total projects awarded by Gani Audu ranging from road constructions to the building of schools and hospitals where grossly inflated and all this contracts where handled by him or his immediate families and friends. A good example is the Agbede township road which was allocated for hundreds of millions of Naira only for the road to start failure less than 3 months after completion as a result of the use of inexperienced contractors and construction materials. The local government chairman who is suppose to be a peace maker in the local government has subjected himself to fighting traditional rulers and as well using cult boys against themselves in the community to unleash terror. He has succeeded in using the security votes allocated to the local government in buying over the police force with which he now uses to carry out his criminal and fraudulent activities.

Our action governor, enough is enough of all this injustice and inhuman act carried out in Etsako west. This is a local government that is blessed with intellectuals and prominent people like you, me and many others whose goal and objective in life is to serve his people and bring about positive developments. Kindly save Etsako west from the hands of Gani Audu and his evil blood sucking associates. The economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) whose roles is to check people like Gani Audu have subjected themselves to money making machine. Rather than fighting injustice, they are much more concerned about how much money can be made from these politicians in regardless of the pains they inflate on the majority. The case of Gani Audu is an eye opener that the local government council should not be allowed to be managed by persons whose educational and administrative background is not sound enough to lead even a primary school class room talk less of a local government.

The present and past projects been executed by Gani Audu should be evaluated and he should be brought to book immediately. Some of these projects include primary and secondary schools being built around the local government, the renovation of the local government council secretariat, the Agbede township road, and the general hospital road, Ikelebe road Auchi etc. All of these projects were inflated beyond reasonable consideration and the constructions are even carried out with substandard contractors and materials. Please Oshiomole save Etsako West from the hands of Gani Audu. He should be brought to justice and possibly made to face the law. This is a man who could not account for a three bedroom before becoming the local government chairman and now he has houses all over Etsako west, the state capital. Lagos etc. Is this the objectives of local government chairmen? My Action Governor, don’t be blindfolded or carried away by praises as those shouting Hosanna Hosanna today will definitely shout crucify him when things are not going in the right direction. Please act fast and save Etsako west from the hands of Gani Audu
