Dear Sir,

Calling on the media

Our leaders have become so shameless that even when it is obvious that they are cheating the masses, they still seek publicity in their media trying to outwit one another. It pains my heart. There is no remorse in them, knowing that they are defrauding the people they suppose to lead.

I thank those media that have always come out with facts and damn the consequences.  The media should continue to understand that they are the only hope for the masses. They should realize that leaders are corrected when their attention are drawn to alleged misdeeds.

We all know that our anti-graft agencies are not to be trusted as it were and if the media being our only hope should compromise, we are finished. I beg you all. The Fresh Facts in their edition of April 20 to 26, 2009, for instance, anchored a story that asked to know in whose interest are the following companies – Sinoeng Nigeria Limited , Emem & Sons Nigeria Limited, Diamond Engineering Nigeria Limited, etc.

To you the Editor, the only thing you can do for the public is to ensure that this letter is published. God will bless you, as you do.
