An Open Letter to Madam Ayoka Olusola Adebayo

Dear Madam,

I am happy to have been given this opportunity by the editor to send this open mail to you.

I should have sent you a direct personal mail but because I know not your email address or any of your contacts.

I am not a politician but I am full citizen of this country and this has prompted me to write this mail.

After watching the just concluded drama that happened in Ekiti state in which you were a major character, I want to really congratulate you for job well done.I have some comments to make:

-at age 74, you are very qualified to be a great grand mother,

-you are an experience hand in electoral matters,

-you are a Christian of good conscience,

-you are a patriotic citizen of this great Country that we are trying to re-brand.

My questions are as follows:

-are you sure you really satisfy your conscience as a good Christian in the Ekiti elections(both major and re-run)?

-are you sure you really announced the authentic and true result of the elections?

-are you sure you weren't pressurized to announce what is not correct?

- are u sure you really express the wish of the Ekiti indigenes?

If the answers to the above are Yes, then please go on and enjoy the savour of your labour. But if the answers were in the negative, I will want to ask you some of the questions below:

-why did you betray your conscience?

-why do you allow the devil to deceive you ?

-why did you disappoint Christians?(because I am aware the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN) under the Lordship of Catholic Bishop hurriedly praised your courage as a 'good ' Christian

-don't you think you have planted a seed that generations to come will eat the fruit and curse the sower?

To conclude, I will like you to know that if your action is a true interpretation and reflections of what is called Christianity, then some of us will be happy to die a Pagan and be happy going to hell(if there is any).

General Overseers and Leaders of different Churches in Nigeria will need to work harder so that millions of souls will not end in Hell due to this inglorious act of Madam Ayoka Olusola Adebayo

Readers comments are welcome.

Yours truly,

Ayinde,Mofeola Adeyinka (Mr.)
