My letter to his excellency Gov Godswill Obot Akpabio

Your Excellency Sir: There is no doubt people, including me, admire your administrative style. Within a short period of two years you started and completed about 1,200 projects, translating to averagely, two (2) projects per day. Many Akwa Ibomites, at home and in Diaspora, believe this. Nevertheless, most others who I have been trying to woo to (our) your side have asked me to provide the list and location of the 1,200 projects if I want them to believe. They therefore ignorantly nick-named you “PLC” which they say mean Paste, Label and Commission. 

Each time I try to disabuse their mind, some of them would shout me down and adduce thus: That Attah built 9 modern residential secondary schools that could pass for a state university in some states in the federation; they asked me to prove that you added one classroom block yet. That Attah built and equipped the dialysis centre with 4 out of the 6 that the centre has provision for at the UUTH; they do not understand where the 17 equipment you donated to the same hospital could have been installed. That Attah built the Ikot Abasi IPP up to about 94% completion; they ask to know when the transmission line would be completed. That he built the Shelter Afrique Housing Estate of about 400 units and 50 other units in each of the 31 local governments; They asked if you added any new housing block. That Attah built five specialist hospitals – 3 in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, 2 in Eket Senatorial District and none in his Uyo Senatorial District. Some say that the site for the referral Specialist Hospital, which you laid its foundation, is now overgrown with weeds.

I assured them that you would soon provide the answers to their inquiries in the newspapers and I know you would.
