Dangote, Otedola reconcile

Details emerging from Nigeria are pointing towards a possible resolution of the lingering fight between two feuding billionaire friends Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Mr. Femi Otedola.

The two high profile African business magnates decided to go different ways and dig in for an all-out war over allegations of undue insider information trading at the Nigerian Stock Exchange market that led to the failing of the value of stocks of Texaco Petroleum once owned by Otedola. Dangote was blamed for orchestrating the melt-down and take over of Texaco.

But sources are now telling pointblanknews.com that at a weekend meeting in Nigeria, called at the instance of another mutual friend of the feuding fellows, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, the millionaire publisher of This Day and notable supporter of corporate Nigeria, the two are reportedly now resolved to bury the hatchet and renew commitment to their friendship as of old.

The feuding duo had earlier met in London with former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Vice President Goodluck Jonathan but the reconciliation was not concluded
