Dear Sir,

Hillary Clinton on Nigerian nation

advertisement

Almost everybody is sincerely aware of Prof Maurice Iwu’s INEC action and inactions that have brought us thus far in our democratic dispensation. So it is with EFCC’s ineffectiveness on the job. These are nice-to-have Commissions but wrongly positioned to serve cabal’s interest.

It has taken Obama’s consolatory ‘visit’ as represented by the US Secretary of State, Mrs.. Hillary Clinton, to stamp further the feelings of most Nigerians. We know that we are suffering-and-smiling people, even in this ‘democratic’ dispensation. Mrs. Clinton had hammered on our electoral malpractices and corruption favoritisms. The INEC and EFCC are the propellers and the Nigeria’s present leadership remains the engine.

To Mrs. Farida Waziri’s EFCC, Mrs. Hillary Clinton had suggested that she should stop deceiving herself and return the EFCC to what it was before her assumption of office and should even improve on it. This bashing is coming from a woman to a woman because Hillary who missed being US President by a thin-line, must have read, among other details: (1) that Farida while trying to express how deep corruption had eaten the fabric of leadership in Nigeria revealed that a first-term governor, few months into office, bought a N1billion house in Abuja, but she failed to name or take action; (2) that Farida was adequately informed of a governor’s brother who had approached US Embassy for Visa, carrying a personal bank statement that contained a lodgment of over N1billion in it, but she refused to follow up the investigation; (3) Farida confirmed that some governors use and push drugs but did not hand over such information to NDLEA. There are numerous cases against her mode of operation.

We need not be reminded by Hillary that both Maurice and Farida are not performing adequately; we already know.
