Sir,
Orji Kalu should have listen to voice of reason
It may be difficult for PPA to smart out of the troubled water which its BoT Chairman, Orji Uzo Kalu, unwittingly created. There is no party so badly in shape in Nigeria (now) as the PPA.
Where PPA national Chairman has resigned; its national Publicity has resigned; its national Auditor has resigned; its South-West executives castigating and passed vote of no confidence on its BoT chairman; its only stronghold (Abia State) is in a kind of tango as its state chairman with the sole aim of disturbing the incumbent governor, was appointed instead of elected. There may be no remedy in sight yet.
If Orji Kalu had taken advice of well-meaning party members and some members of the public to strengthen the party’s hold on Abia by sincerely cooperating with the sitting governor and also, instead of concentrating in wooing people that matter in Anambra, such as Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu and Dr. Chris Ngige in order to add that state under his control, he was busy on selfish ego.
Now the chips are down and it is getting late, what becomes of PPA in the next electoral dispensation – to be extinct or to be rescued? I believe that if Orji Kalu should have a rethink and do the right things, PPA can still be rescued rather than extinct.
