Sir,
Peter Obi and his other parties
People, including his wife, advised Mr. Peter Obi not to think 2010, but he ignored those views.
When the N255million cash in three-suit-cases that conveyed from Awka to Lagos in one of his official cars and later traced to his private office premises, it was that it belonged to his brother-in-law who could not avail himself with the online banking system prevalent in Nigeria. When in one of the APGA’s recent campaign rallies, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu was seen with Emeka Etiaba and not Peter Obi; it was still not enough indication to Peter Obi that the game was up.
As Obi’s Anambra is being ravaged by serious crime, Obi would find relief in saying that his opponents are at work. When the authentic-APGA sacked Peter Obi and his gang, he waved it off. Why is he now seeking the platform of any Party for an elusive second term bid?
Sincerely, Peter Obi is one of the Press-Tiger governors in Nigeria. If you read all about him in the media, your conclusion would be that he is winning and sincere. I was surprised that he employed the help of the Nigerian Guild of Editors at the heat of the N255million saga; wherein while the Editors were having a scheduled meeting in Awka, they inadvertently (I believe) passed Obi as a very hard working governor. I wished the Guild did not make such statement then.
Now Emeka Ojukwu (junior) has resigned, from Peter Obi’s cabinet as Commissioner, effective 31 st August 2009, because of what is now discovered that his name was being used, without his consent, by Obi people in issuing Press Statements.
What chances for Obi’s second term?
