EFCC: The Tiger Awakens

advertisement

I get nauseated watching how activities happen in my country.  I bleed and could only help in this type of letter writing to the Editors who most times are gracious enough to let them published.

I do not know how look we are going to live in a world of uncertainty; I know how long we are going to live in a world of hypocrisy;  I do not know how long we shall keep unfulfilled promises. I do not know why we should not be saying what do not mean or doing what we do not say. What I do know is that what goes up must surely come down.

Recently there was the report raised by Senator Nkechi Nworgu-led Senate Committee on Banking and the NDIC of N53.3billion debtors that crippled few banks. Up till today, EFCC has not told us how far it has gone with the debacle. But suddenly with the new revelation by the CBN, it took off like woken-up Tiger on a great devouring mission.

My questions to Mrs. Farida Waziri are: How far have you gone with the earlier cases of the N53.3billion debtors? Some of the perpetrators are still vocal in business activities unperturbed; on political turfs and on federal government's Boards.  Shouldn’t you have taken those cases along or even before the current ones? Or have you decided to sweep those to under the carpet? The public should help me echo the questions.
