Sir,
Anambra 2010: Now that court has told PDP
The PDP knows how to disobey court orders. Therefore I would not be surprised if the court order handed down to it by the Justice Mary Odili’s Appeal Court group to the effect that it would be nullity if they continued with Professor Soludo’s campaign train.
On another hand, the actions of the INEC have unwittingly shown that PDP has no candidate yet for the Anambra 2010; and it is late to field anyone. It is important that PDP does not set the country on fire with this first in the series of gubernatorial elections, which continues 2011 after Anambra’s 2010. I were the President, I would consider that capturing Anambra State by all means could spell doom for PDP’s chances come 2011. Therefore, he should pay less attention to the Anambra guber election; but going by the retinue and high-powered campaign team arranged for the embattled former CBN governor who is bent on governing Anambra State, PDP is unwittingly trying to instability in Nigeria, having perfected plans to rig by parading the ‘formidable’ campaign team.
Anambra looking embattled for now require peace which has slipped off the hand of the present Peter Obi’s government. A stitching time it is said, saves nine. Please let Anambra be allowed a needed new leaf and peace. Let a neutral, non-controversial peaceful candidate by unveiled because the lot we hear making the noise, if any of them makes it, would not allow the peace to be.
Mr. Kayode Kelani, Plot 243 Kenya Street, Abuja.
