Anambra 2010: Some Catholics as Anti-Christ
Reading the front page of Champion newspaper of Monday December 7, 2009 of a lead story entitled “Catholic Church splits over Obi, Soludo, Ngige”, I was disappointed in the way a section of Christendom is taking things wrongly. This will definitely leave a lot of room to be desired and give opportunity to non-Christians in trying to assume their beliefs that Christianity is not of one Christ. Catholic faith which I belong should desist from this otherwise they are killing our religion.
Especially in Anambra, I felt disappointed that this carried on unchecked. But look at; in Akwa Ibom State where, albeit due alleged monetary inducement and SUV Jeep and other gifts, the incumbent governor Akpabio, a catholic, was said to have a hand of a Pentecostal Bishop on his head for anointing in his quest for a second term. But in Anambra, ember of disunited Christendom is being fanned by us, the Catholics. This must stop and God should be allowed to take control.
Come to think of it, who told the Church that it must be from the trio of Ngige, Obi and Soludo that the next Anambra governor would emerge. To generality of Anambra people, those names are already very controversial whereas we have non-controversial names like Ichie Mike Ejezie of the ANPP and Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu of the ADC. The two persons are incidentally Catholics as well, and I prophesy that it is God’s decision that one of them would emerge Anambra governor at the 2010 election; this is for the required peace and progress of Ndi Anambra.
