“We however thank God that the late Madaki lived a good life. We all loved him but God loves him more than any of us. The Almighty Allah (SWT) will grant him eternal rest. The good Lord will also grant our revered Monarch, the family and the entire  people of Kaduna State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”

Delivering Governor Oni’s condolence letter to the Emir Zazzau, the Deputy Governor, who was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the governor on Revenue Mobilisation, Alhaji Baky Belo and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Tosin Jegede, apologized that the governor could not come personally due to scheduled State matters, praying that Allah (SWT) would comfort the monarch and the entire family.

His words: The late Madaki was very close to us in Ekiti. We shall miss him. In fact the governor, Engineer Olusegun Adebayo Oni would have wished to come personally but for other important State matters. He personally wrote this letter which he said I should personally deliver to your Eminence sir.”

Responding the Emir Zazzau thanked the governor, his deputy and the people of Ekiti State for their concern and affection. He prayed for Allah’s protection over all Nigerians, expressing the faith that Allah would grant Kabiru eternal rest.

The brother of the deceased, Prince Yusuf Shehu Idris also expressed his appreciation to Governor Oni, the deputy governor, Dr. Lawal and the good people of Ekiti for their demonstration of love, saying “we are all one, Thank you”
