What a way to humiliate President Yar'Adua

All those who can reach Her Excellency, Hadjia Turai Yaradua should please beg her that this may be the first time in history of the world that an ailing leader of a country is being treated this way. For all we know, Umaru Yar’Adua is a public property, therefore Nigerians have the right to demand to see or hear him. He probably needs our sympathy but the way Her Excellency is treating our President is to say the least, humiliating. Our President was smuggled into the country like contraband; whereas every Nigerian knows that he is not one.  

This situation is what I want those in authority to consider, especially the national assembly members and the Press.  They should consider that if Turai continues this way, all she is telling us is that Umaru Yar’Adua is no more the President of Nigeria. We are tired of this hide-and-seek game and humiliation being meted on our President, nay Nigerian nation. If she wants to claim him as her personal property, she should make this known because it was even reported in the media last week that she could not allow Umaru Yar’adua’s mother to see him; her son? Turai is dishing out wickedness to particularly the entire Yar’Adua family and to Nigerians in general. Enough is enough. What does she mean? She is humiliating our country in the eyes of the international community.
