The allegation of connivance between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Billionaire businessman, Alhaji Aliko Dangote to cheat the Nigerian public of millions of Dollars in Tariff and Duty waivers, is not abating anytime soon. Documentary evidence has shown the pattern through which the Dangote Group brought in several containers of goods to Nigeria without necessary tariff payment.

Pointblanknews.com had earlier reported exclusively on how the Comptroller General of Customs, Mr. Jacob Gyang Buba had been a regular caller at the Independent and Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC answering questions on how Nigeria lost over N50 Billion annually to tariff waiver granted some friends of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Dangote, Femi Otedola, ex-Governors Saminu Turaki, Donald Duke, Governor Gbenga Daniel among others had enjoyed the tariff waiver during Obasanjo’s reign.
Between January and February 2005, the Dangote Group imported several containerized goods into Nigeria. Below is a sampler of 27 such containers with their numbers on which tariffs were not paid to the Nigerian Government allegedly owned by The Dangote Group.
