Open Letter To Anambra House Of Assembly

OPEN LETTER TO ANAMBRA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
The Speaker of the House

Dear members of our state house of assembly, It is with great humiliation and tears beyond comprehension that we the ANAMBRA STATE UNION CHINA "ASU-CHINA", decided to make an open appeal to you over the lame and shameful game that is played with 2008 state budget.

We all know that in politics every things goes ,but shall we always join Satan crusade just for a loaf of bread ?.We all know that Anambra state has suffered the suffering that is dued for 5 generations, just within the few years Nigeria wanted to practise democracy.Shall we all like to go back to Mbadinuju dark era ? or shall we crave to go back to burning and looting that prevails during the tenure of Ngige and Chris Ubah?.

We recognise your unflinching royalty to your Master whom brought most of you into the state house, both the qualified and unqualified,"anyi aga eji na enyi anyi nwanyi mara nma, were ria ube edoro iyi? "[ shall we take because of the beauty of our girl friend and climb a pear tree that was protected with fetish objects ],God Forbid.

ASU CHINA is not finding it funny that the great and marvellous work that our Governor ,whom every right thinking human know is a God sent, is been mortgaged by just few men in favour of one man?. Where is our conscience? do we do things to insult posterity or to submit ourselves to the court of posterity ?. Do we care for the tommorrow of our children? or shall we ruin thier tommorrow today?.

In case we are quick to forget,do not forget what happened to some of your ex-colleague who was used to scuttle Ngige,s tenure and was used to Impeach the same Peter Obi ,none of them returned to the house , despite all the juicy promises made to them. All of them has become a political outcast in Anambra state politics and they are seen as abomination in their locality. So what do they gain by that outrage?.

Lets not forget that you cannot fight whom the God chooses, but by fighting the budget of the state ,you are not only fighting the GOVERNOR ,but you are fighting your own blood brothers, your own kiths and kin and you are impoverishing the state.Have you ask yourself, what is the benefit of having under developed state, which you also inhabit and your relations are beneficiaries to the same project that will be carried out with the budget.

Do not forget that it is under the first budget inherited by the incumbent that such projects as underlist was executed..

In Anambra today, even the blind can touch and inhale the wonders the Governor is doing within a hostile atmosphere. We now have a completed Secretariat, which was build within thankful and minimum budget; accredited and improved hospitals and other health institutions that has never happened to the state in the time past; improved education sector and with corridor for more innovations toward that sector, great and solid buildings littering the state.

Security, Anambra has improved and become the most crime free-State in Nigeria, unlike before when the state is known for "Home for all criminals".Did,nt you notice that this same Governor by divine ordinance handed us an imposing stock exchange building which is operational,Computer village in the making. The man should be celebrated as an instrument God wants to use to restore the glory of Anambra State and not to be hindered from providing to the state, the dividend of democracy.

Therefore the member of ASU CHINA , is appealing to all of you with whatever you hold sacred to help that Man and improve our state, unless na ife oma , ona aso unu nso. This budget should be passed without mutilation or alterations. Help your future political carrier by doing the right thing ,which is to disengage self from slavery and become independent, then register your freedom by telling the slave driver that you are for the people and the state progress. Be it known that fighting the good things that will happen to the state is like fighting the gods and he who fight the gods has all his life to grieve.

All we are saying is that partisan politics should be taking out of the benefits that is meant for the state. We need progress and we are matching forward by the grace of God ,please do not act as agent of destruction that enjoys the decadence of the state, for that is invoking the wraths of the mother land.
