CONGRATULATIONS GOV MIMIKO AND LABOUR PARTY
Conference of Nigeria Political Parties [CNPP] joins millions of Nigerians to congratulate Labour Party and Governor Mimiko; who through dent of hard work, resilience and perseverance, recovered his stolen mandate.
Gov Mimiko’s victory is a defeat to anti-democratic forces led by ex-president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who out of perfidy, mischief and self glorification turned our fledgling democracy into Do-or-Die political culture.
We appeal to Gov Mimiko to give the good people of Ondo good governance to justify the social contract between them.
CNPP also salute the Hon Justices that served the cause of justice, inspite of persuations and manipulation.
CNPP also calls on President Umaru Musa Yaradua to relief Professor Maurice Iwu of the chairmanship of INEC, as Iwu’s gross misconduct had been highlighted by the judgment.
