ENAHORO MEETS EMINENT POLITICAL LEADERS ON MEGA PARTY
Elder statesman, Chief Anthony Enahoro will tomorrow in Lagos Consult with Political Leaders of thought on the emerging mega party. This is a follow up to a previous consultative meeting which held in Lagos on 17 February 2009.
Expected to be at this powerful parley organised under the auspices of the National Political Summit Group, NPSG, are political leaders across the six geo political zones among which are party chairmen, leaders of thought and former leaders of government in the country.
The meeting which commences at 7pm will hold at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja and it is expected to take a common position on the reform of the Nigerian electoral system and draw a framework for the forthcoming National Political Summit expected to hold in Benin in April 2009.
A broad coalition of political parties and groups are expected to announce a major political realignment at the summit leading to the formation of a mega party that will engage the Nigerian electoral system in the build up to 2011
