THE SAD STORY OF ALAO-AKALA
The rebuttal by Chief Alao-Akala on his daughter’s robbery did not come to us as a surprise. Of course, her daughter’s robbery incident that made her to forcefully part away with the whooping sum of $56,000 is a calamity and a double jeopardy to Akala family and his hangers on. The most astonishing part of it was that the reporter of the story in the Tribune can go to the extent of capitulating to the whims and caprices of the corrupt and wicked illegal occupier of Oyo State government house by changing the story. The spirit of Late Chief Awolowo will not pray for whoever that uses the Tribune platform to distort the truth and sell falsehood to the masses.
We know that the write up is the handy work of Akala’s media agent writing in the hollow chamber of the Oyo State Government house chamber. The fact remains that you can only fool people for some time but not all the time. If the story were to be false, the Akala we know would have instructed her daughter to head for the court of law to enforce his fundamental rights and sue for damages.
Since Chief Alao Akala is not a strange face in the politics of deceit, fraud and violence in Nigeria hence, all the futile attempt to confuse the public will never worked.
Since he gate-crashed into the Oyo State Government House as the pretender governor of the state on the May 29, 2007 having been forcefully enthroned by Late Adedibu, INEC and his retinue of political bandits, Oyo State, the hitherto most peaceful state in Nigeria, has lost its innocence with pains and unlimited agonies unleashed on the people both young and old, elites, working class and plebeians.
Chief Alao Akala’s two years of holocaust in Oyo State has wreaked so much havoc that generations, even yet unborn, would live to know that once upon a time an unrepentant vagabond captured the state and unleashed the most devastating attack on all facets of people’s life together with his squad of political vampires in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who sucked the state dry economically, morally culturally and politically.
While the people of Oyo State are wallowing in abject poverty, Akala mismanaged and embezzled the sum of twenty one billion excess crude oil money received from the federal government in year 2008. He embarked on a white elephant project in Ogbomoso with the award contract for the construction of LAUTECH medical school at huge sum amount of money. The fake building collapsed two weeks ago after spending money running into billions of naira on the illegal project. We call on the EFCC to investigate Akala on the award of all contracts in Oyo State since his assumption of office.
Akala is a highly regarded member of the Nigeria Looting Squad and we are ready to establish corruption cases against him through the EFCC, ICPC and get him convicted in the court of law. Therefore, we must all demand that Akala must go now!
It is our responsibilities to save our nascent democracy. Our appeal goes to the Nigerian media of which many journalists paid supreme prize of their life in the struggle for Nigeria democracy. The Nigeria Labor Congress, (NLC), should stand firm in support of the truth. The Nigeria bar Association should not fold their arms in such a time like this.
We call on all civil rights organizations, (CD, CLO, NANS, CDHR, AREWA, OPC) and opinion leaders and other prominent Oyo State indigenes who have been serving as moral conscience of the State to speak up on Oyo State issue and demand for the immediate removal of Alao Akala.
Akala Must Go Now!!!
