SUMMIT GROUP CHIDES OGBULAFOR, PDP
The secretariat of the National Political Summit Group, NPSG has condemned the activities and statements credited to Chief Vincent Ogbulafor , the chairman of PDP over the formation of the mega party under the leadership of Elder statesman, Chief Anthony Enahoro.
The Chairman of PDP, Vincent Ogbulafor, while reacting to the formation of the mega party, in Thisday newspapers on Thursday was quoted as saying,
“Surely they shall gather, but surely, they shall scatter. We know of the proponents of the so called mega party. My reaction to it is that surely they shall gather, but surely they must scatter because they are strange bed mates”
Mr Wale Okunniyi, the group Head of Secretariat, while responding to the media statement credited to Ogbulafor, said Ogbulafor and his agents working for Yar’ adua second term have suddenly become jittery by the moving tide of the mega alliance and are therefore desperate to destabilise and throw up confusion for the process.
His words “What Ogbulafor and his gangs of agents’ provocateurs in various formations posturing on behalf Yar’ adua do not know is the fact that this is the set time for the nation to be delivered from the forces of evil.
It is an era in Nigeria where only the truth will work. It is a moment where money and money bags will fail because this mega platform is the fulfilment of great predictions and the Nigerian people have embraced it.
Therefore no satanic wish and utterances of Ogbulafor and his team of marauders either in PDP or any other party can stand because no causeless cause is permitted to stand against us as we have already condemned his tongue and statement against the movement”
He said the handwriting is now very clear to the agents of the PDP government that the PDP will surely lose power to the mega party very soon and that was the reason for their panicky moves and utterances.
Many PDP top stalwarts have in the last two weeks signed on to the mega party. This is Ogbulafor and co greatest headache. Okunniyi added
He also disclosed that there are ongoing steps to harmonise all other efforts towards creating a genuine mega alternative platform for the country under the leadership of Chief Anthony Enahoro. He said discussions in that direction have entered advance stage.
