“WITH MRS ADEBAYO’S RESIGNATION, THE GAME IS UP FOR THE PDP” - SAYS LAGOS AC.
With the resignation of the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ekiti State, Mrs. Ayoka Adebayo, the Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has said that the game is up for the PDP and the INEC leadership. The party said that it is now clear that the people that purport to rule the nation and the people who preside over the fraud-ridden electoral process have lost every sense of honour.
In a release in Lagos, signed by the party’s Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress, Joe Igbokwe, Lagos AC said that Mrs. Adebayo’s resignation remains remarkable because it was a direct assault on the forgery and bare-faced lies that the woman, who has chosen to write her name in gold, rather than accede to the desperate roguery of the PDP is desirous of putting the record straight that the fraud the PDP brewed in Ekiti State is what is creating the present instigated deadlock.
“While we felt that Mrs. Adebayo would have stood firm and insisted on doing what she and the entire world knows is true on the Ekiti re-run, we believe her action was to confirm the widely held position that she is being forced through various desperate means by the dark and evil minds that presently ruin Nigeria to announce a fake and forged result from Ido Osi to wipe off the advantage Dr. Fayemi holds over the PDP candidate after elections in over 98 per cent of Ekiti State. Her resignation should now inform the PDP that the game is over and they should give up and allow the people whom the entirety of Ekiti people elected to have his mandate.
“Only yesterday, we were treated to the bare faced lies and crooked forgery of the PDP leadership and the dishonorable and thoroughly debased INEC leadership that Mrs. Adebayo was indisposed and couldn’t continue announcing the results last Saturday because she suddenly fell sick. Today, the same woman is telling the entire world that she is hale and hearty and that only the desperate pressure from the PDP for her to announce a wrong candidate as the winner of the election, held up the announcement of the result. It is on record that the woman resisted the heightened pressure from the presidency and the PDP hierarchy for her to announce a fake result to give Oni victory in an election Oni lost by 12,000 votes.
“It is interesting that the scandal perpetrated by the PDP in Ekiti State is now exposing the PDP for what it is and is bringing so much shame and opprobrium in the already tarred and battered image of the country. Mrs. Adebayo’s resignation has further reified the bestial and acutely remorseless penchant of the PDP to corrupt every institution of state in Nigeria and shown that gradually, the Nigerian people are rediscovering their souls from the cannibalism of the PDP and are gearing to fight for their country.
“While we salute the courage demonstrated by Mrs. Adebayo, we charge all Nigerians to rise up and be ready for the sure-to-come fight to rescue this country from the vice grips of criminals that have congregated in the PDP for the sole purpose of raiding this country. We want Nigerians to employ the lessons of the dirty debacle orchestrated by PDP’s vile antics and naked fraud in Ekiti State to get prepared for a bigger battle that must happen for Nigeria to rescue itself from these evil and desperate cabals.
“The PDP and INEC should know that the lid has been blown open on their Aso-Rock sponsored fraud in Ekiti where they stole in close to 19,000 votes from two wards in Ido Osi to steal the mandates given to Dr. Fayemi by the entire Ekiti people. What more, the people that own the disputed mandate are strong, firm and resolute that only the person they gave their mandate will rule them. We wonder whether the PDP wants Oni to rule the platoon of thugs and vampires that were mostly shipped in from neighboring states or the people, whose immovable resolve has forced the PDP to run away with the results of the election and are now tinkering with means of bolting the stable door after the horse has ran away? Let the original, not the fake, results from Ekiti re-run be announced now to stave off further embarrassing developments arising from PDP’s desperate efforts to steal Ekiti governorship at all costs”.
