“YOU ARE A SERIAL FAILURE” -LAGOS AC BLASTS ANENIH.

The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has said that the failure of such political jobbers as Tony Anenih has been the reason why Nigeria has been crashed in the ten years of historical failure the PDP has prosecuted in Nigeria. It says that Anenih’s effort to offload the blame for the failure of people like him who have made a life business of stripping Nigeria of its assets will fail.

In a release in Lagos, signed by the party’s Lagos State Publicity Secretary, Joe Igbokwe, Lagos AC says it believes that Anenih’s attempt to blame the opposition for mistrusting the sincerity of the present Yar’Adua government on sundry national issues is an effort to ingratiate himself with the Yar’Adua government. This, the party said, is with a view to continue getting the borderless license to carry out his usual economic rape of Nigeria.

“The history of this serial rigger and enforcer of dubious and undemocratic practices is all too familiar to Nigerians to bear repeating here. Nigerians know very well that Anenih represents all that is abhorrent and detestable with Nigerian politics. He represents the dark and ugly face of Nigerian politics and his dominance, with people of his ilk, in this present epoch, speaks of the terrible nature of the present democracy. Anenih is a serial failure that derives phantom satisfaction from crooked and sordid means, guiles and intrigues that benefit him and his selfish interests. His grand failure represents the face of abysmal failure the country has assumed with such negative principalities as Anenih in its leadership. That he is aiming to blame the opposition who remain victims of the awkward and bizarre politics of the Anenih’s and their strings of masters, amounts to a half-clever means of strategizing for more pies from the present government.

“Anenih has been a recurrent character in the demolition of Nigeria, an apostle of the politics of the stomach and a known apologist for any contraption in power. His is an infamous history that dates back to the days of the military. He was the contractor that procured the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election and has found means to warm his dubious ways into the hearts of whoever comes to power for very selfish, corrupt and destructive purposes. His yeoman’s effort to Yar’Adua is meant to carve more lucrative fortes for himself and the flowering of his warped interests while Nigerians bleed inexorably from the mediocrity and plain insincerity of the present government.

“It must be stated that true to Anenih’s all-weather character, he never ever supported the quest and struggle for democratic government in Nigeria. Even as he has become one of the principal beneficiaries of democracy where he has made awesome fortune from the collective misfortune of Nigerians, Anenih indeed, did everything to ensure that Nigeria never achieved democratic government. His collaboration with the military is only comparable with his dirty roles in the present malfunctioning democracy to rig elections for which he proudly poses as Mr. Fix It.

“Lagos AC remembers that Anenih looted the over N300 billion voted for the Works Ministry when he was the minister. What more damning verdict of his role in the Works Ministry than the public statement by his principal, former president Olusegun Obasanjo that he never saw the roads Anenih constructed with the huge sum voted for the ministry while he was at the helms? We also remember that this same character, who has become the unfortunate face of Nigeria’s democracy, had earlier looted the N10 billion voted for poverty alleviation when he employed his position as Chairman of the Poverty Alleviation Committee to enhance and bequeath poverty to Nigerians.

"We urge Anenih and his crooked ilts to stop insulting Nigerians who are bearing the brunt of their callous and destructive activites. We  want to let him know that Nigerians locate their present dreary and regrettable fate on him and his co-travellers in negative politics and that he will not successfuly transfer such liability to the opposition who are suffering this calamity with all Nigerians.
