PRONACO DEMANDS THE RELEASE OF SHETTIMA YERIMA
PRONACO condemns in strong terms the unprovoked arrest and detention of its coordinator of Youth matters, Alhaji Shettima Yerima who was abducted at his residence in Lagos at wee hours of yesterday by operatives of the state and police for no stated reasons.
PRONACO wishes to state that Nigeria's hard earned democracy has continued to witness rape with these kind of brigandage, which calls for concerted intervention of patriots before it degenerates into a full scale terrorism.
This kind of gestapo tactics is unacceptable to PRONACO. PRONACO hereby calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Alhaji Shettima Yerima from illegal state detention. The state should rather charge him to court if it feels it has a case againt the leader of the Arewa Youth Movement.
