LAGOS AC HAILS SACKING OF AYO ARISE.
The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has applauded the sacking
of Ayo Arise as the Senator representing Ekiti North by the Appeal
Tribunal sitting in Ilorin. The party says that the continued upturning of
the sham and forged victory the PDP recorded in Ekiti State during the
April 2007 election shows beyond all reasonable doubts that Ekiti PDP is
forged in the most heinous electoral fraud that this country has ever
witnessed.
In a release in Lagos, signed by the party’s Lagos State Publicity Secretary, Joe Igbokwe, Lagos AC says that the voiding of the fraudulent
victories of Femi Killa and Arise in quick successions, just some light
weeks after the brazen and open fraud in Ido Osi should warn the PDP that
its days in Ekiti are numbered. It says that the AC will not allow the PDP
to violently steal the in-coming re-run in Ekiti North, saw it did the
governorship re-run. The manner Arise was arrested with a platoon of thugs
and well armed hoodlums on the day of the re-run is still fresh in the
minds of Nigerians and that the Nigerian system has tolerated these kinds
of hoodlums who have crumbled the country remains the reason why thing
continually go wrong.
“The world that watched the bestial manner with which the PDP cooked up
a forged result to claim the Ekiti governorship just the other day, is now
being served a fresh proof that Ekiti PDP is a phantom creation of the
vote stealing tendency of the evil cabal that goes under the appellation
of the PDP. That this evil cabal stole its ways to a fraudulent victory in
not only Ekiti but the entire country in the shameful electoral parody of
April 2007 through the connivance of the Maurice Iwu led INEC is an issue
that is universally acknowledged by Nigerians. That fact is proved by the
way and manner the country’s judiciary is upturning these forged
victories, one after the other.
“It is a thing of poetic justice that soon after the shameless manner
the PDP, the presidency, INEC and the security agencies connived to cook
up a very fraudulent result in Ido Osi, with a view to steal the Ekiti
governorship election in April, some of the principal characters of that
glaring case of national disgrace are being eased off from positions they
coveted through dubious means. It goes to prove that the impostors and
vote robbers that have been holding Ekiti to ransom since 2007 are living
on borrowed time because either in April 2007 or May 2009, the PDP never
won Ekiti State but stole the state through the most abhorrent means.
“While we congratulate the gallant members of AC in Ekiti State and
i8ndeed all Ekiti indigenes that have stoutly resisted the evil imposition
of reactionary lackeys on Ekiti State, we want to assure them of the
goodwill of the country’s progressives as they seek to recover their
state from impostors who were imposed by evil forces that seek to conquer
Ekiti for their Ota-based master and his evil agenda against the
Yoruba.”
