PREAMBLE => In order to further consolidate and continue to strengthen
the positive gains of the SLAP-Initiative in Imo State since the past
28 months through preaching the gospel of Accountability, Productivity
and good governance in the State, a subsidiary group to be known as“OPERATION RESCUE Imo from BONDAGE” is hereby born.
Operation Rescue Imo from Bondage will assist SLAP Initiative in this
crusade of letting Imo people in particular and Nigerians in general
know that the current Governor of Imo State Chief Ikedi Godson Ohakim
is not fit to continue as Governor. Operation Rescue Imo from Bondage
will take this message of bad governance of Chief Ohakim to the least
person in our society. We have adopted the “Jehovah Witness” style of
operation.
We therefore call on Imo citizens and Nigerians to embrace this
selfless crusade against injustice, stealing, looting of State
resources and bad governance of Chief Ikedi Ohakim. Join the crusade
to jail Governor Ikedi Ohakim. Join the crusade to expose his criminal
records and activities. Join the crusade without fear. When you are as
bold as the lion, fear will run away. When you are pursuing the truth,
the devil will run away.
Below are reasons why the people of Imo State should continue to
reject and hate Chief Ikedi Godson Ohakim, the Governor of Imo State.
We have captioned it “one million reasons why you should hate Ikedi
Ohakim:.

23. He is very fetish (He forced his S/A’s, E/A’s, Commissioners to
swear oath of allegiance to him).
24. He forced poverty to become a native of Imo State through the
destruction of economic activities of the masses without compensation.
25. He increased unemployment in Imo State among our youths by
intentionally destroying the economic activities of youths without
following due process and without any compensation.
26. He is looting the resources of Imo State and using them to
purchase personal properties worldwide when the people of Imo State
are in abject poverty.
27. He is heavily involved with money laundering using his Special
Assistant on Special Duties Mr. Chikwem Onuoha as the major conduit.
28. He executed a major fertilizer fraud in Imo State in 2008 using
his former Special Assistant on Protocols Mr. Teddy Adams Ochonma as a
front.
29. He used State funds to buy personal house for one of his numerous
girlfriend, 46 years old Ruth Osieme (Editor This Day Style Magazine)
in Lagos State.
30. He is using State resources to fight the poor masses in Imo State.
31. While sitting on the State resources he is insulting respected
elders in the State.
32. He fraudulently acquired land belonging to widows in his village –
Okohia Isiala Mbano Local Government Area.
33. He fraudulently claimed in a National newspaper (Champion
Newspapers) that Aladinma Shopping Centre has been completed. Two
years after that fraudulent claim, the so called Shopping Centre is
yet to be completed.
34. He sleeps with under aged girls at his guest house in Prefab
Housing Estate which he built with State funds in September / October
2007.
35. He claims to be building a refinery for Imo State with billions of
naira when in truth, there is no such project in sight at the so
called location.
36. He claims to be building Oguta Wonderland with billions of naira
when in truth, there is no such project in sight at the so called
location.
37. He forced our youths to go into kidnapping, stealing, militancy,
419 and ritual activities because their economic activities were
destroyed by him without any form of compensation.
38. He forced our girls to go into prostitution because their
hairdressing salon and provision stores were destroyed by him without
any form of compensation.
39. After destroying “illegal shops” of the poor masses, he forced the
same poor masses to buy umbrellas, tarpaulin, canopies, containers etc
at five times the original cost and thereafter allowed them to stay at
the same “illegal places”. He executed this fraud using his comrade
in-crime, Mr. Willie Amadi (Special Assistant on Transport and
Sanitation).
40. He forced Imo citizens to buy plastic dustbins for N20,000 from
him, but in the open market, the same type of plastic dustbin goes for
N3000.
41. He has been stealing, looting and evacuating the various local
government areas in Imo State.
42. He has refused to conduct local government election in the State
since 2007. This is to enable him continue to steal local government
funds.
43. He gave contracts to people at a certain amount but alters Imo
State government’s accounts records to suite his fraudulent
activities. For example, he awarded Dr. Alex Obi contract to construct
a Secretariat for the Council of Traditional Rulers at N329 million
but altered Imo State Government records to read over N1.3billion
naira.
44. Ikedi Godson Ohakim is a failed family man.
45. His second son OBINNA was expelled from Convenant University Otta
in Ogun State because of uncoordinated behaviour and open display of
stolen State funds.
46. One of his sons was expelled from Igbinedion University Edo
State because of the same uncoordinated behaviour.
47. He insulted, deceived, humiliated and disgraced President Umaru
Musa Yaari Adua in Imo State on the 25th of July 2009.
48. He surrounded himself and his unfortunate leadership with people
of questionable characters. For example, Mr. Elvis Agukwe. Mr. George
Irechukwu. Mr. Emma Ohakim, Mr. Chikwem Onuoha etc.
49. His younger brother (Emma Ohakim) whom he fraudulently made Chief
of Staff and who is not of the same father with him (because of his
mother promiscuous life style) was sacked from Central Bank of Nigeria
because of fraudulent behaviours.
50. Originally he is from Uga in Aguata Local government area in the
present day Anambra State according to village sources. His grand
father Pa Ohakim migrated and settled in Okohia in 1905. He was a yam
digger.
51. Resources which should be used to develop the State, he used in
media deception and propaganda.
52. He dethroned a prominent Traditional ruler (HRH Eze Dr Oliver
Ohanweh) who advised him to take it easy with the poor masses.
53. He insulted Almighty God by destroying Churches in Imo State.
54. Resources which should be used to develop Imo State, he used to
buy bogus awards of “achievements”
55. Governor Ohakim personally slapping a staff of Federal Airports
Authority of Nigeria because he did not open the VIP lounge in the
wake of Ohakim’s passage on time. This happened in 2008 at IMO
AIRPORT.
56. He did not pay Civil Servants December 2009 salary.
57. He did not pay pensioners December 2009 pension allowance.
58. He used his convoy to crush a woman and her two children in Lagos
State in the year 2008. The woman’s car was crushed beyond
recognition.
59. He has abused the traditional institution to the extent that our
traditional rulers are now his errand boys.
60. Because of his criminal activities of stealing, looting and
sleeping with small girls, he can no longer walk the streets of Imo
State free.
61. Because of his criminal activities, he has destroyed the future of
his own children.
62. He publicly insulted the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri dioceses,
Bishop AJV Obinna through his Special Assistant on Political matters
Mr. Rex Anunobi in 2009.
63. He constantly bribes the Imo State House of Assembly members to
continue to deny Imo people purposeful leadership through anti-people
bills.
64. He boldly announced to the people of Imo State in August 2009 at
Ikeduru Local Government Area that he is a versatile criminal (IKIRI).
65. He is generally an irresponsible man.
66. He looted funds meant to be used to give late HRH Eze Dr,
Zeb-Philips Nwosu a befitting burial in 2006.
67. He was publicly slapped by his former boss (Chief Fidel Anujuo) in
Lagos State for stealing and looting his company’s funds.
68. He stole a brief case belonging to former Governor Evan Enwerem in
October 1993 at Murtala Mohammed International Lagos.
69. His administration is made up of cultists and occultists of whom
he is a member.
70. He is using marabout to run the leadership of a Christian State.
71. His wife Chioma was allegedly sleeping around when she was a staff
of defunct Progress Bank of Nigeria Plc. One of such people is a
prominent Chief from Mbieri in Mbaitolu Local Government Area who was
buried three weeks ago.
72. Early in 2009, he accused his wife of sleeping with his brother
in-law (Mr. Chinedu Chukwuonye Managing Director of CODUC Nigeria
Ltd). This accusation led to his wife fighting him at Government House
Owerri.
73. His first son Nnaemeka publicly slapped a protocol security
officer attached to Governor Theodore Ahamefula Orji of Abia State at
IGBERE during the IGBOTONMA ceremony of Chief (Mrs) Eunice Orji Kalu,
the mother of His Excellency Dr. orji Uzor Kalu.
74. He used State funds to settle one of his numerous girlfriends by
name DUPE who threatened to deal with him. He allegedly gave her the
sum of N20million naira through the Chief of Staff, Emma Ohakim.
75. He heartlessly and criminally increased his security vote from
N1billion naira to N2.5billion naira in 2009 with the connivance of
the Principal Officers of the Imo State House of Assembly, when Imo
people are dying of hunger.
76. He used the Commissioner for Finance Chief George Irechukwu and
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs Mr. Kezie
Ogaziechi to defraud the past Local Government Councillors of their
entitlements and arrears with Chief Daniel Okehi of Brickred Financial
Consultants Ltd and others as fronts.
77. He diverted allocations due to development centers for over 2 years.
78. He deliberately increased school fees in Primary, Secondary and
Tertiary Schools in Imo State for no just cause, with no cogent and
verifiable reason. Imo State is the Richest State in the South East
yet other States in the zone charge far less school fees in their
respective States.
79. He is using clean and green project to defraud Imo State government.
80. He is using Chief Chris Asoluka to defraud Imo State Government of
various sums of money under the guise of organizing worships, seminars
and retreats.
81. He is using IRROMA scam project to defraud Imo State and Various
local government areas of billions of naira.
82. He is using his younger brother Emma Ohakim (Chief of Staff) to
short change local contractors in the State by forcing them to part
with a certain percentage of contract funds.
83. He is lodging fraud money in various banks accounts with
fictitious names. For example, his account with Zenith Bank Account
number 6010176554 with the title J. O. Edeson and sons. He uses this
account number for his illicit deals especially fertilizer fraud
money.
84. He duped one Mr. Ezekwesiri Ibeawuchi of $100,000 = in 2005/2006
in one onshore and offshore business transaction. When he suddenly
became Governor of Imo State, Mr. Ezekwesiri came to Ohakim for his
money. Ohakim pledged to pay him his money allegedly on the 20th of
July 2009. On the said date he failed to pay Mr. Ezekwesiri, which
made both men to quarrel bitterly at Government House Owerri.
Mysteriously Mr. Ezekwesiri Ibeawuchi was shot dead in front of his
house at Olokoro street in Prefab Housing Estate on the 23rd of July
2008 either by the Police or by Ohakim killer squad.
85. Governor Ikedi Ohakim is very desperate for power.
86. He is very greedy.
87. He is the most corrupt governor in Nigeria.
88. He is not compassionate
89. Under Governor Ohakim, political intimidation, arrests, harassment
are the order of the day.
90. He is not a team player. He is very autocratic and ruthlessly
dictatorial.
91. He is a role model to 419ners, Ritualists, Armed robbers,
Pickpockets, cult people, cheque forgers, Indian hemp smokers,
gamblers, prostitutes and other criminals in Imo State and beyond.
92. Governor Ikedi Godson Ohakim’s third name is fraud, his fourth
name is stealing, his fifth name is looting, his sixth name is
insolence, his seventh name is Roguery, His eighth name is Assault,
his ninth name is keep forging it until you get it, his tenth name is
deception.
93. If Ikedi Ohakim tells you good morning, please check you your time
thrice to be sure.
94. It is a notorious fact that while Ikedi Ohakim is the father of
corruption in the South Eastern Nigeria, his wife Chioma is the mother
and his children the by-products of corrupt practices.
95. When a patriotic citizen in Imo State (Mr. Ikenna Samulson Iwuoha)
criticized his style of leadership in 2007, he destroyed his kerosene
business with the “excuse” that they were on illegal places. He also
dragged him to court in July 2008 after harassing him with Police, SSS
and cult people in June 2008.
96. He has continuously threatened to deal with anybody that stands on his
way.
97. He has refused to allow the Imo State House of Assembly to invite
patriotic citizen (Mr. Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha) along with his
conditions to prove his allegations of stealing, looting, money
laundering and other criminal activities against him.
98. He has abused the Office of the Governor in Imo State by his
actions. He has indeed molested the integrity dignity and credibility
of the office of the governor of Imo State.
99. He has brought disgrace, shame, and insult to the people of Imo
State with his kleptomania life style.
100. He is now an alleged mental case. He does not know what to do
with stolen funds belonging to the people of Imo State except using
the funds to fight and frustrate the masses.

We therefore challenge Governor Ikedi Godson Ohakim to deny these
allegations against him. We are therefore challenging Governor Ikedi
Godson Ohakim to allow the Imo State House of Assembly to invite
patriotic citizen (Mr. Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha) along with his
conditions to prove his allegations against him.
The battle has just started.
